Summer Reading Programs were great fun!

Pioneer Memorial Library served many preschool, primary & middle school students during our summer reading program. Children and adults of all ages also enjoyed our special events that highlighted the "Be Creative @ Your Library" theme for Summer Reading 2009.
We had a movie mattinee to start off the fun, then we had Sue Schnitzer come and share an outdoor concert on the Library east lawn. She made us help her in her silly, creative songs. We jumped, jiggled, swam, skipped, and much more as we considered all the ways we can move.

The third event when Suzanne Lively came to share her interactive ballon show in the PML basment. Kids of all ages loved this show!

Our Middle School students wrote and performed in their own "Oscars & Emmy's Reader's Theater Program.

Many children helped us make our quilt that now hangs proudly in our upstairs meeting room!
