Booked For Lunch - AAUW Brings Cynthia Harris for Women's History Month

The American Association of University Women sponsored author, Cynthia Harris to speak at the Pioneer Memorial Library on March 7, 2012. She spoke about her book Hometown Appetites in honor of Women's History Month. Paddleford made quite an impact as a writer of food in the mid 20th Century. Harris had a wealth of information and insights about Clementine Paddleford and her years as a food writer. When she came she could have kept our interest for hours just telling stories and giving our guests great insights about Kansas, the unique personality of Clementine Paddleford and Paddleford's life in New York and Chicago.
