Tribute to Debbie Tittel - for her many years of service at the Pioneer Memorial Library
If you missed Booked For Lunch in October, you missed a small tribute we put together for Debbie.
Debbie Tittel passed away from brain cancer, September 13, 2013. She fought hard throughout her time with cancer. She always smiled and had a cheerful disposition. When she was probably feeling bad, she always cared for others. We know her family will miss her, but we at the library and in the community, will also miss her! This is a short tribute to her with pictures during recent events. She was not one to want pictures taken, so we cherish the ones we have. Please know that her family has a copy of this, so please do not send it to them.

Book Festival at the Pioneer Memorial Library - September 14, 2014
The Pioneer Memorial Library held its first Book Festival. We opened up the basement on a Saturday morning and afternoon, had the authors set up their materials for the visiting public. We also had some of them scheduled to speak each hour to interested participants upstairs in the meeting room.
We'd like to thank Ray Imhoff who volunteered to make this event happen. An author himself, he knows how important it is for authors to have opportunities to share their creations.
